Bob Lestina will speak about the Camino de Santiago. the Way of St. James or Camino de Santiago derives from a medieval pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in Galacia, in northwestern Spain. Tradition has it that the remains of the Apostle St. James are buried there. It was also known that St. Jams walked this route proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bob walked the entire 500 miles of the Camino, beginning in France climbing the Pyrenees and ending at the Church of St. James, where his body is buried in Santiago, Spain. We will see pictures along the route and learn of Bob's experiences.
