Background and Experience: Marquette H.S. and
Marquette University graduate. Certificate in Pastoral Ministry from St.
Francis Seminary. Ordained as a Permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese of
Milwaukee, on June 13, 2009, by Bishop Richard J. Sklba.
Occupation/Profession: I have been the
Director of Instructional Media for the Department of Anesthesiology at
the Medical College of Wisconsin, for over 30 years. My
responsibilities include coordinating and producing all phases of
educational, instructional and audiovisual media within the
resident/student training program. I am most satisfied knowing that I
am part of a team responsible for training or supporting the education
of doctors, who in turn will provide medical care for needy patients.
The Deacon plays a unique role
in the community. On the one hand, he is an ordained minister of the
Church, personifying the sacramental sign of service that each of us are
called to become by virtue of our own baptism. On the other hand, he is
a husband and father, wage earner, homeowner, and neighbor. He remains
a part of the fabric of his community's everyday life experiences with
all its routines, joys and difficulties. The Deacon bridges the gap
between the Church and society…bringing the presence of the Church and
Jesus Christ into the workplace, the home and community. I look
forward to serving my Faith Family here at St. Dominic. I hope that the
example of my commitment will encourage others to follow and that
together, with faith and trust in God, we can bring the light of the
Gospel and the love of Jesus to a world desperately in need of His

Working here at St. Dominic is
a bit of a “homecoming” for me. I’ve been fortunate enough to have
attended our Parish School, as well as receive all of my sacraments
here. Walking the hallways of the Parish Center makes me smile and
brings back so many memories. My high school sweetheart, Ted and I were
married here in 1995, and currently live in Menomonee Falls. My parents
are long-time parish members, Gerry and Kathy Monday. How lucky am I? I
feel fortunate to be here and look forward to the opportunity to work
with many of you in various capacities, as well as meet all of the new
faces who join our parish.
It’s so good to be “home”!

4 years: youth ministry
3 years: adult ministry
4 years: WYRE Ministries, Assistant Director of Programming
2 years: Encounter Conference, Assistant Director of Logistics
Growing up, I attended
Catholic school, so I was raised going to Mass and had a curiosity about
faith. Then, while I was preparing for Confirmation at 16, I had a
profound encounter with Jesus Christ. I realized, for the first time,
that he really loved me, as broken as I am, and that he had plans for my
life. From that moment, everything shifted. I desired to give everything
I had and spend my life proclaiming this Good News to the world. Fast
forward 10 years, and I’m still passionate about sharing the love of
Christ with teens and young adults through retreats, worship, and
conversation. Outside of ministry, I love overpriced lattes, re-reading
Harry Potter, and training for my first half-marathon. But, above all,
my goal is to live each day with the same passion and humor as St. Peter
and St. Mary Magdalene. I am ecstatic to be joining the St. Dominic
family and I’m excited to see what God has in store for our parish, as
together we grow in holiness and bring Christ to the world.
Areas of Responsibility:

administrative support to other staff members and volunteers for a
variety of other parish programs.
My husband John and I moved to

daughters grew up in this parish, graduating from St. Dominic Catholic
School and participating in LFF during high school.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a variety of
volunteer roles here, ranging from the School Advisory committee to
front office receptionist (and lots of time in the Marcy Center
kitchen). For the past several years, I’ve been working for St. John
Vianney Parish as the administrative assistant for Christian Formation.
Now as part of the St. Dominic staff, I’m looking forward to serving my
long-time home-parish community.
Manage the Front Office and our crew of loyal receptionist volunteers;

Support for the following areas:
St. Ben's Meal Program
Mass Intentions and sanctuary lamps

My husband, Ron, and I have
been married since 1978. I am very proud to be the mother of two
children, Erin & Rett. We moved here in 1998, after living in
Georgia for 20 years. I initially became involved with the parish
as a front office volunteer and a LFF teacher, and was very fortunate to
have the opportunity to join the staff here at St. Dominic's in January
2005. I feel very blessed to be a member of this faith community and to
work and pray with such talented and supportive people.

Personal Statement I believe that a principal in a Catholic school has a most
extraordinary task before them; one that I am so very excited to take on
here at St. Dominic School. Not only is this individual the instructional
leader of the school, they are also a leader in faith for the students and
the staff. I love being a Catholic! Our faith is so rich that I can't help
but share my passion for Christ and his Church. I am my faith and my faith
is me! In fact, highlighting the Catholic identity of Catholic schools
should be of utmost priority. It is what separates us from our public school
counterparts after all. Families make the intentional effort to send their
children to a Catholic school for that reason. It is to be highlighted and
